Progression in Clean Your Keycaps begins with a finished object, not a shop button. The official description defines the dependable order: scrub, rinse, polish, place the clean keycap, receive money, upgrade sponges and soap, and work toward cleaning all the keycaps. Every later system should either make that loop faster, automate part of it, improve its payout, or reset it for a lasting benefit.
This hub turns that order into a decision route. It does not publish exact costs or thresholds that Roblox’s public sources do not expose. Use the current in-game preview for numbers and this guide for what to compare.
Evidence status: The core loop and money relationship are Official. Rebirth, Workers, offline income, upgrade bundles, and money multipliers are supported by official product names. Their normal unlocks, formulas, caps, and reset rules need in-game testing.
The progression loop
Start with one complete cap. Watch each state change and confirm that placement produces money. Repeat with the same setup until you can complete the route without returning to a missed station. That creates a baseline for both earnings and time.
Spend earned money on the bottleneck visible in the live upgrade menu. Sponge and soap are the only normal upgrade families named in the official description. One may affect direct cleaning while the other may affect access, capacity, or a separate stage; read the preview rather than assuming.
Repeat the baseline after one purchase. If the full cycle becomes faster or more reliable, the upgrade is doing useful work. If not, inspect whether it changed a different resource or whether movement and placement now dominate the route.
When Workers or other automation appears through normal progression, measure manual and automated output separately. When Rebirth appears, compare its permanent reward with the rebuild time shown by your account.
Choose the right progression guide
The Money Guide covers payouts, safe rate measurement, money multipliers, and the difference between earned currency and Robux products.
The Upgrade Path shows how to order sponge, soap, speed, Worker, and other visible improvements without inventing a universal tier list.
The Rebirth Guide provides a pre-reset inventory, timing framework, and post-reset comparison. It does not guess the current requirement or retention list.
The Completion Guide focuses on scrub/rinse/polish state, placement, missed keycaps, and recovery when a cap appears clean but does not count.
Measure money without inventing a rate
Record your balance, complete a fixed number of caps, and record the ending balance. Note sponge, soap, Workers, Rebirth state, passes, server effects, and the number of successful placements. This produces a rate for your current setup.
Do not use one unusually fast cap. Three to ten completions capture movement and station delays. Separate any offline collection or purchase from the test window. If Weather or server Luck appears active, record it rather than claiming it affects money.
The public developer-product catalog contains 2x through 256x Money product names. Those are purchases and do not establish the base payout, stacking order, or a permanent earned multiplier.
Order upgrades by bottleneck
A strong upgrade order changes as the account changes. Early on, manual scrub or a soap interruption may dominate. Later, walking, cap selection, placement, Worker targeting, or a progression requirement may become slower than cleaning.
Use a four-question filter:
- Which repeated stage takes the most time or causes the most failed placements?
- What does the current preview say this upgrade changes?
- How many successful caps are needed to earn its cost at your measured payout?
- Will a near-term unlock or Rebirth make the purchase irrelevant?
Buy one level, retest, and stop when another category offers a clearer improvement. A +10 Upgrades developer product and catalog entries named Upgrade (1) through Upgrade (12) confirm paid upgrade concepts, but they do not document the free tree or its optimal order.
Add Workers without losing the manual route
Official commerce names include +1 Worker, +10 Workers, +1 Keycap Worker, Unlock Workers Early, 2x Worker Speed, offline earnings, and timed income. This is strong evidence for automation, but weak evidence for its operation.
When the normal Worker interface appears, determine what task a Worker performs and what happens when no eligible keycap is available. Record a fixed time window with no manual actions, then a window where you work alongside it. This shows whether Workers parallelize or compete for the same targets.
Upgrade Worker count or speed only when it changes successful placements rather than idle animation. The Workers hub contains the dedicated tests.
Decide when to Rebirth
The Skip Rebirth product verifies the term but not the normal mechanic. Read the live Rebirth panel as a contract. It should tell you the requirement, reward, and reset consequences before you confirm.
Estimate rebuild time using your own current loop. A permanent benefit may justify resetting soon when the rebuild is short; waiting can be better when one more earned upgrade sharply increases the reward. Do not rely on a threshold copied before an update.
Record money, tools, soap state, Workers, completion, inventory, and permanent bonuses before and after. If the panel does not explain a field, treat retention as unverified.
Completion is a progression system
“Can you clean ALL the keycaps?” is part of the official description, so completion matters beyond raw money. A cap must pass through the full ordered state and placement. A clean-looking cap left at a station may not count.
Work in a consistent physical or visual pattern so missed caps are easier to locate. Finish one cap before starting several partial ones unless the live game clearly supports batching. If a total stalls, revisit scrub, rinse, polish, and placement signals in order.
The completion goal can interact with unlocks or Rebirth, but no threshold relationship is published in the sources reviewed here. Confirm it in the live panel before planning around it.
Progression mistakes
- Buying by catalog name without reading whether the prompt uses money or Robux.
- Timing only scrub while rinse, polish, travel, or placement is the real limit.
- Applying several upgrades at once and losing the ability to compare them.
- Counting an offline payout as manual earnings.
- Assuming a named Money product is a permanent base-game multiplier.
- Rebirthing without recording what the current confirmation says will reset.
- Leaving partially processed caps across the keyboard and losing track of completion.
Progression FAQ
How do I get money?
The official description says to place clean keycaps. Confirm the balance change after a fully scrubbed, rinsed, and polished cap is placed.
What should I upgrade first?
Buy the affordable normal upgrade whose live preview addresses your measured bottleneck. There is no verified universal fixed order.
How many upgrades are there?
The catalog includes paid products named Upgrade (1) through Upgrade (12) and +10 Upgrades, but this does not prove the structure or count of the normal progression menu.
When should I Rebirth?
When the current permanent benefit outweighs the measured rebuild time and you understand every reset field shown by the game.
Does completion require every cap?
The official description challenges players to clean all keycaps, but the exact counter, reward, and relationship to unlocks need in-game verification.
