Soap is one of the two tool families named in the official Clean Your Keycaps description: players are told to upgrade sponges and soap to clean faster. The public developer-product catalog also contains Refill Soap, Unlock Soap, and GOLDEN Soap. These names establish refill, access, and special-soap product concepts, but do not publish capacity, consumption, normal unlocks, or effects.
Official: soap is an upgrade path and the three product names exist. Needs in-game testing: the stage soap affects, capacity, refill amount, normal price, unlock requirement, Golden Soap benefit, and interaction with clean speed.
Identify the live soap state
Look for the soap label, meter, container, station, or upgrade preview in the current game. Record whether it starts available and whether the game shows a quantity or level. Do not assume a missing prompt means soap is absent; it may unlock after a tutorial step.
Complete a cap and watch whether the soap indicator changes during scrub, rinse, or polish. Repeat until a soap-related interruption occurs, if one exists. Count successful caps rather than guessing capacity from the graphic.
If no meter or interruption appears, do not invent one. Soap may operate as an upgrade stat in the current version.
Test a normal soap upgrade
Record the live price and preview. Complete several caps before buying, then change only the soap level or state. Keep sponge, route, Workers, passes, and Rebirth constant.
Compare full-cycle time, number of caps before interruption, and any displayed soap value. A larger capacity can improve session output without shortening a single cap. A speed improvement can shorten an action without changing capacity. Separate those outcomes.
Use earned money when testing the normal route. A developer product can skip, refill, or alter a state and should not be mixed into the same comparison.
Refill Soap product
Refill Soap is an official developer-product name created July 20, 2026. The name suggests a purchased refill, but the public description is blank. It does not say how much is restored, whether the purchase fills the current container, or whether normal refill options exist.
Before buying, record current soap state and read the in-game confirmation. Afterward, check the same meter or access state. Do not convert the price into a gameplay formula or call it required.
If there is a free refill station or timer, document that separately. Paid refill existence is not proof that free refill is unavailable.
Unlock Soap product
Unlock Soap was created July 20 and updated July 27 in the public catalog. Its name suggests earlier or direct access, but it does not publish the ordinary unlock requirement.
Follow normal progression until a live panel explains the lock. Record the exact requirement and what becomes available. A product prompt may bypass a tutorial or milestone, but that needs testing.
Do not tell new players that soap is Robux-only. The official description presents soap as a general upgrade path, while the product name alone cannot establish exclusivity.
GOLDEN Soap
GOLDEN Soap is an official product name created July 21 and updated August 1. “Golden” does not prove faster cleaning, higher money, greater capacity, permanent ownership, or a special Shiny interaction.
Read the current effect text before buying. If you test it, compare the same full-cap route and soap indicator used for the baseline. Record duration and ownership behavior rather than assuming it is permanent.
Soap and sponge order
Choose based on the bottleneck. If the active cleaning action is slow and soap never interrupts, compare a sponge or clean-speed upgrade. If soap access or capacity stops the route frequently, a normal soap improvement may have better session value.
Recheck after each upgrade. Once interruptions disappear, cleaning time or movement may become the new limit. See Upgrade Path for the broader order.
Soap mistakes
- Assuming refill, unlock, and Golden products describe the normal free path.
- Calling Golden Soap best from its name or appearance.
- Measuring one cap when the upgrade may affect session capacity.
- Changing sponge and soap together during a comparison.
- Treating a product update timestamp as a balance note.
- Publishing a capacity or refill amount without a current meter.
Soap FAQ
What does soap do?
The official description says soap upgrades help clean faster, but the exact stage and resource behavior need live verification.
How do I refill soap?
A paid Refill Soap product exists. The normal refill route and amount must be read from the current game.
How do I unlock soap?
An Unlock Soap product exists, but the ordinary requirement is not public. Follow the live progression prompt.
What does Golden Soap do?
No effect is confirmed by the public catalog description. Read and test the current in-game text.
Should I upgrade soap or sponge first?
Choose the normal upgrade that solves the measured bottleneck: cleaning time for one cap or soap-related interruption across a session.
